Our Mission

The Artemis Guild commits to organic, regenerative land care by implementing  Korean Natural Farming, Permaculture, and Jadam systems. By employing these methods that are both ecological and economical, we make spaces more resilient, productive, and conducive to life. With a background in "fine gardening", we meld ornamentals with edible and medicinal plants to create an ecosystem that benefits the soil, insects, animals, and humans. I want to heal the soil one yard at a time.

We offer a variety of services (please see services and offerings) to assist others in their quest to be more self-reliant, healthy for our environment, and in accordance with nature - surrounded by beauty!

We've been working to transition the property we are on to a small farm / nursery with a closed loop system. Trees that have been transported from rental to rental for so many years finally went into the ground! It's a process, and I can't stop propagating plants! A handful of years ago, I was taking cuttings from plants at my qigong master's garden and mentioned (dreamily) that I'd love to start a nursery. The response from someone was, "Why don't you?"

One of the things I love about Natural Farming is that it empowers people and encourages observation of nature. My mission is to share these methods to protect the earth, to free our minds, to enhance our quality of life. Regenerative land practices are helping me create a network of like minded gardeners / landscapers to support each other in building landscapes that will feed generations to come.
